HTML5/JS Player Beta Now Available!

We're pleased to announce we're adding support for native HTML5/Javascript Adaptive playback. It is currently available as a beta preview within our CMS in our test players, along with the iframe embed code.

Libraries and documentation will be available soon, as we put the finishing touches on and prepare for our GA release. In the meantime, please reach out to us at [email protected], we'd love to hear your feedback!

Please note, 608-style captions are not yet integrated with the beta HTML5 release, which is a mandate from the FCC. As such, customers should not be using this beta in production applications to avoid violating the mandate.

New Reports!

We have added a Monthly Channel Summary to the reports provided for users. In order to access this additional data select a month from the Analytics tab and then select Monthly Channel Summary to view the following data:

  • Total playback hours per channel

  • Total playback starts per channel

  • Per channel playback broken out by platform.

  • Per channel playback broken out by country.

This new functionality is available now.Go check it out.
