The DRM (Digital Rights Management) report provides real-time visibility into FairPlay, Widevine, and PlayReady license activity across your streams. This report helps you quickly identify DRM-related failures, understand which platforms are affected, and diagnose root-cause issues through detailed error insights.
You can use this report to monitor the health of your DRM workflows, proactively identify playback problems, and validate that DRM devices, CDMs, or players are behaving as expected.
The data is less than 1 minute behind live and you can view up to 24 hours.
DRM Provider Summary
For each DRM type (FairPlay, Widevine, PlayReady), you can see:
- Successes.
- Failures.
- Success ratios.
- Breakdown by owner.
This helps determine whether issues are isolated to a specific app, integration, or DRM system.
Failures Over Time
View failure trends within the last 24 hours to identify spikes, patterns, or regressions in DRM behavior.
Failures By Type
Displays the distribution of failures across the three DRM technologies, making it easy to see which DRM system is most impacted.
Failures By Error Message
Groups failures by the specific error encountered (e.g., deprecated CDMs, invalid requests), allowing quick identification of the dominant issue.
Errors Table
Lists all unique errors with:
- Error message
- DRM type
- Count
Selecting an error opens a drill-down view with additional details (when available), such as timestamps, owners, device data, or CDM versions.
