Multi CDN Settings

Uplynk provides the ability to utilize multiple CDNs and have specific percentages of delivery sent to each. Uplynk allows you to use your own CDN(s) in addition to Uplynk's default CDN. This functionality is currently for live events and linear channels only (not VOD).

If you desire to use Uplynk's Multi CDN capabilities, please contact [email protected] to have your CDN(s) configured.

When enabled on your Uplynk account, you can configure your CDN distribution percentages from the Multi CDN Settings page as shown below. Percentages must add up to be 100.

Once changed, within a about a minute, all playback sessions (current and future) will use the new CDN distribution percentages.

If you have a CDN setting specified in the URL itself (cdn=), this will override the CDN settings used on this page.
